John W. Hill, Jr., is a founding partner of the firm and has played a central role in its growth and leadership since its inception. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from Otterbein College in 1979 and his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 1982. His background in accounting provides a strong financial foundation for his legal practice, particularly in estate and fiduciary matters.

Jack was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1982 and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in 1984. As a founding partner, he has provided long-standing leadership in the firm’s estate planning, probate, and fiduciary practice, advising individuals, families, and business owners on both planning and administration matters.

Jack’s practice is concentrated in estate planning, probate, and trust administration, with additional experience in real estate transactions, business formation, and civil litigation. He is known for his practical approach, deep understanding of financial and legal structures, and steady guidance in complex and often sensitive matters.

Jack is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law Section and the Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity, and is an alumnus of the Eta Phi Mu Fraternity. Prior to practicing law, he worked as an accountant for Ohio Steel Industries, Inc. from 1978 to 1982 and has served on its Board of Directors and as Corporate Secretary since 1979.
