After serving as Judge for the Franklin County Domestic and Juvenile Courts
for 22 years, Judge John W. Hill began his Central Ohio law firm along with his son,
John W. Hill, Jr.in 1983 under the name of Hill & Hill. Originally located on Ferris
Road, the firm changed its location in 1987 to its current location on Olentangy
River Road.
The face of the firm changed again in 1991, both in number of attorneys and
level of experience when James H. Allison joined the firm as a Senior Partner. Mr. Allison brought 23 years of practice in the areas of
domestic relations as well as business law, nonprofit and charitable organizations, probate work and
estate planning.
Stephen S. DeWeese joined the firm in the Autumn of 1991 as an Associate,
after being a Judicial Law Clerk at the Third District Court of Appeals of Ohio
for 2 years. Mr. DeWeese became a partner at Hill Hill & Allison in 1995. Mr. Deeese has special certification from the Franklin County Probate
Court in the areas of Estate and Trust Planning for his expertise in this field of practice.
